Aye, it’s that time again – Pyrate Lore & Harbour Walk™ TONIGHT, 7pm in Downtown Port Colborne! Tales o’ pyracy on the Great Lakes, why Lake Erie has 4x more wrecks than the Bermuda Triangle and why the War of 1812 relied on Pyrates.

Rat Rod with a Flintlock Pistol for a shifter!

Even better, it’s “Rat Rod” night for the Downtown Cruisers Association; see some unique vehicles lovingly hand modified by their owners and hear some Rockabilly music! Rat Rods are some of the most interesting customizations to look at, often rather “rough around the edges”, the details are always a treasure hunt. Often looking unfinished, even rusty, theses cars have minute details individual to their creators – often changing and growing as they go along! Find out more from the Rod Authority.

A variety of restaurants are open all over downtown – Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Greek, Thai…we did say there was PIE – visit our mates at Jay The Pie Guy, 174 West St. for all manner of pies (fruit or meat), cookies, tarts, cheesecake and other treats; but get there early (they close at 6pm). The Thursday Special is Shepherds Pie!

Mmm…delicious Shepherd Pie!
