Canal Days 2017

A very special event in our home port!

The 39th Annual Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival – a four-day celebration of history and heritage in Port Colborne, ON. Tall Ships, Fire Boats, Classic Cars, Live Music, Kite Competition, Food, Merchants and more!

Join the crew Sat. & Sun. Aug. 5 & 6, 11 am – 5 pm at The Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum and Heritage Village, 280 King Street, Port Colborne, ON. MAP

The Museum is the place to be for Living History! We’ll have our usual assortment o’ treasures, trade goods and tall tales. Our mate, Bad Billys Blades will be joining us with edged weapons, drinking horns and other handmade goods, Midgard Metal Works will feature handmade copper jewellery, and many other Merchants, Craftspeople & Reenactors! There is a special exhibition of tintype photographs celebrating Port Colborne history – and the chance to have your own authentic tintype photo taken – courtesy o’ Mr. Stephen Brûlé of The Silver Sunbeam!

Visit the buildings on the grounds to see Canada’s first Electric Vehicle (over 100 years old), a working Blacksmith shop and of course Arabella’s for a spot o’ Tea & Bikkies! Click here for full Museum schedule

Admission is FREE (though donations to the Museum are always welcome) and free parking.

NOTE: Canal Days runs August 4 – 7, 2017 and admission is free. Live bands in the evening, fireworks & more.
