41st Annual Canal Days – Port Colborne

Canal Days runs every August long weekend – this year from Fri. Aug. 2 through Monday Aug. 5; with family friendly events & entertainment all over Port Colborne!

Aye mates, it’s back again – the annual celebration o’ that watery bridge between the lakes, The Welland Canal; and what would the Canal be without Pyrates? Well, a ditch, mostly…but that’s another story.

Ye can find our Crew at various locations/times (Fri., Sat., Sun.) – stop for a chat about some true history, a photo or two…or just because Pyrates are more fun to hang around with! Remember that ye can actually take a cruise out into the lake on the tall ship, Empire Sandy (sadly, without Pyrates, but it’s worth the trip) – or cruise out to visit the historic Port Colborne Lighthouse!

Find us at:

  • The Concert venue in H.H. Knoll Park on Friday evening, 6pm – 10pm (David Wilcox, Honeymoon Suite, Revive The Rose)
  • West Street Promenade (look for the tall ship, Empire Sandy) Saturday, Noon – 4pm
  • The Concert venue in H.H. Knoll Park Saturday evening, 6pm – 10pm (I Mother Earth, Finger Eleven, Drop Top Alibi)
  • West Street Promenade (look for the tall ship, Empire Sandy) for Sunday night Fireworks! 6pm – 10pm

Located in beautiful downtown Port Colborne, here are some options for transit and parking – including free shuttle service between some areas! Please leave your pets at home. http://canaldays.ca/page/gettinghere
