Privateers, Buccaneers and perhaps even a Sea Chantey or two; Real Pyrates ~ Real History™!
Join Capt. John Swallow and QM Seika Hellbound for Pyrate Lore & Harbour Walks™. Historical tales of Pyrates & Privateers (Canadian and otherwise); sunken ships, daring raids, fact vs. fiction and all manner o’ treasure! True accounts of Canadian waterways and those who sailed them, contentious history surrounding the War of 1812, the perils o’ the “Lake Erie Quadrangle” – and an infamous Caribbean Pyrate, who retired to the Niagara Region!
Adults: $15 / Kids: $7 (6 – 16; must be accompanied by adult) / Family (2 Adults, 2 Kids): $40 – CAD/USD at par, pre-payment required. Maximum 15 persons per tour. Most tours last approximately 90 minutes and are generally considered ‘accessible’ (due to the age of these areas, some may be less than level). Families are welcome, though children 6 to 16 MUST be accompanied by an Adult 18+ (not recommended for children less than 6 years). Pre-payment is required to reserve yer space (only a digital receipt will be issued). We may accept cash or credit cards at the walk, but pre-arrangement is required.
Walks are seasonal and weather permitting (generally rain or shine – short o’ thunderstorms/hail/occasional sea monsters). If there is inclement weather before the walk starts, we will post a notice on the site; ye will be eligible for an alternate date (sorry, no refunds).
Though we list these as “walks”, we are equally able to present to schools, museums, libraries, team building, youth/senior groups…or anyone wishing to participate in some “living history” with real Pyrates! Special group, private tours, educational lectures and the like are available and may be booked at almost any time or location (no kiddie parties please…there are scary clowns for that) – available for groups of 10 or more, your location or ours, please contact us for a parley!
